An anonymous string of characters created based on your email address (so-called hash) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it. The Gravatar privacy policy is available at: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible next to your comment.

If you are a registered user and upload pictures to your website, you should avoid uploading images with EXIF location tags. Visitors to the website can download and read the full location data from the images on the website.
